ALICE RAP Held a 90 minute symposium at the Lisbon Addictions Conference highlighting several areas of project work with important policy implications of relevance to the 2016 UNGASS on Drugs:
Robin Room gave a fascinating presentation as part of a parallel session on 'Perspectives on addictions: Environment and context', in the Lisbon Addictions conference 2015, positing three different frames for the concept of "addiction", including addiction as a failure in social roles arising from different strands of ALICE RAP work; and discussed the appropriate contexts for these frames and the need to combine them all in effective policy making:
